WHY ARGENTINA?

Argentina has a great variety of landscapes due to its length, where you can find several climates within a few hours. A terrain that includes the Andes mountains, lakes, glaciers, dry, humid landscapes, snow, rivers, waterfalls, mountain ranges, beach, arid landscapes and meadows in the Pampas, the traditional grazing land of its famous cattle.

The country is known for dancing and tango music. Its great cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, surrounded by imposing 19th-century buildings.  Local architecture features a great diversity and different styles.

Argentina is a country of 44 million inhabitants, with many cultural varieties.  The natural riches of Argentina are immense. Given the enormous extension of the country, as well as its latitudinal and altitudinal development, Argentina presents an enormous variety of climates.

Due to its history, Argentina has a wide racial range. 

Argentina offers reverse seasons from the Northern Hemisphere and up to 14 hours of sunlight in January. Hundreds of commercials are shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina every year. About a fourth of these are international productions – products of agencies that choose to shoot in Buenos Aires for its moderate prices and versatility, which allows it to double for lots of different locations or simply pose as a generic metropolis.

At present there are no tax incentives for foreign commercials or films shooting in Argentina. However, foreign companies are not charged the 21% national tax on production services. Also regarding accommodation, foreign companies are not charged the 17% national tax on rooms.  Argentinians Armando Bo and Nicolas Giacobone along with  Mexican Director Alejandro González Iñárritu and Alexander Dinelaris Jr. took home’ Best Original Screenplay’ at this Years 87th Academy Awards.
